I believe that the new art Renaissance emerging is the recognition of God-breathed and God-inspired creativity. Made in the image of the Great Creator, it is a given that people would burn to be creative as well. All children draw and love it . . . but, somewhere along life’s journey, frustration and discouragement defeats them, and they stop drawing.
To me, creativity is like a Sacred Space . . . a secret place of inspiration set aside for the Spirit of God to give me a hopeful heart that dreams way beyond my world – and then to put a pen or brush to paper, or capture an image with my camera as an expression of that hope burning fresh within me again.
Sacred Space is a celebration of color – just for the sake of color. It allows me to see with eternal eyes the wonders revealed only to those who really, truly love God.
Today, I am lost in that Sacred Space for all my creative inspiration.
